ONLINE Art or Math or English Teacher for Tutoring Grade1 to Grade 6 Students

Queensview Education is a leading private tutoring company, we are helping students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 in a variety of subjects including Art, Math, English and French by offering a fully personalized approach. 0 y" q& ^# K Y; u# w1 T* UCurrently, we are looking for highly qualified Art, Math, or English tutors who are creative and able to produce enjoyable and positive learning experiences. G8 q# v) L6 M3 w" Y& y% I3 A8 C X
& o/ H- M3 R0 a" @; XResponsibilities:
1 \6 V9 e3 e6 A( ^9 C i1.Grades 1 to 6 tutors are responsible for a group of 8 to 10 children virtually.
1 y( n9 ?6 _+ k% F/ P2.Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided' X( |1 B9 n! M7 ~
3.Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required
; i/ H$ a! n+ e4 N" _ T" N4.Familiar and Follow the updated Ontario Ministry of Education criteria.. m, Q- [1 I6 k3 b0 ^6 K+ a
5.Develop and prepare teaching/tutoring materials and customized tutoring programs
. {; L$ j. ~1 a$ U6.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in handling students' needs.
1 A: O/ z# S9 W: I7.Recommend the study books or teaching materials to class1 Q( u6 S, A! w$ S* {
8.Familiarity with using zoom or Google classroom8 S4 e1 @$ A i( `- V1 C
9.Proven ability to work well independently
$ I) R& \% G: i- [+ y/ E10.Evaluate each student’s academic level and performance and provide a suitable class level.; n& O8 _: f1 f6 q7 n% w
% i8 h. g# H& X7 Y+ ]+ `Education/Experience Requirements:# K! O) X. W/ ?/ }; y( F' T
1.Teaching certification of OCT is an asset! Q' |1 {$ o7 e
2.1-2 years of teaching experience.
! E& N: b; Y9 @$ e3.A demonstrated ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom" z6 B7 l) X+ k4 W/ ~) {, [
4.Tutors: Not Required, references and transcript as an asset

Rate: $25/hr or Negotiable Based on Experience
